Our Story
A story worth telling.
The name Songbird wasn’t mine at first. It came from my best friend - proof that sometimes, it takes someone else to see your vision clearly before you can. The name stuck because it fits: a songbird doesn’t just speak, it sings. And I’ve always believed in the power of stories that resonate, rise and take flight.
It also carries a deeper meaning. Martha Songbird, the last known carrier pigeon, lived her final days at Fort Sill - not too far from my home in Norman, Oklahoma. Her story is a reminder of what’s lost when voices are ignored, and what’s possible when they’re heard. That’s what we do here: amplify what’s good, carry messages that deserve to reach far and wide and preserve what matters most to create a lasting legacy.
After earning my bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma and my master’s degree from Georgetown University, both in public relations, I built a career around one clear goal: doing good work for good people. At Songbird, that means partnering with purpose-driven businesses, community-minded organizations, and people who want their legacy to outlive the news cycle. We stand on values like integrity, trust, collaboration, transparency and compassion, because our clients do, too.
At home, I’m a die-hard Thunder fan, a proud Sooner, a wife to my college sweetheart, Lance, mom to Harvey, and a devoted dog mom to Maya, our wild black labbie.
Songbird is personal. It’s professional. And it’s proof that when you let the story speak for you, people listen.
